What exactly counts as an "activated attendee"?
An activated attendee is someone who receives and responds to the first WhatsApp message from the agent. If an attendee is registered but doesn't respond to the opening message, they are not charged. Typically 70–85% of registered attendees activate - but you only pay for those who do.
When do I know what the final cost will be?
Before the event starts, you'll see a projected cost based on your registered attendee count and expected activation rate.
Do I need to pay the setup fee every time I run an event?
No. The setup fee is a one-time charge per client, it covers your platform configuration, integration, and onboarding. Once you're set up, each subsequent event runs through your existing configuration with no additional setup cost. Self-serve clients pay no setup fee at all.
How does progressive tier pricing work exactly?
It works like income tax brackets - each attendee is priced at the rate for the band they fall into, not the highest rate across the board. For example, 350 activated attendees: first 100 at €6.50 = €650, next 200 at €5.50 = €1,100, final 50 at €4.50 = €225. Total: €1,975. Effective rate: €5.64/attendee - not €6.50 applied to all.
What happens to unused credits in an annual package?
Unused credits partially roll over at the end of the year: 30–50% depending on your package. For example, on Bono L (3,500 credits) if you use 2,800, 40% of the remaining 700 (= 280 credits) carry forward to the next year. This prevents the "I lose everything I don't use" concern that makes annual packages unattractive.
Do attendees need to download an app?
No. Everything runs on WhatsApp, which your attendees already have. No download, no new account, no onboarding for the attendee. The only thing they do is respond to a WhatsApp message - which is why activation rates are consistently above 70%.
Can I use this alongside my existing event platform?
Yes, and this is exactly the intended use. We integrate with your registration data (Cvent, Bizzabo, custom CSV, or API) and read your event agenda. Your attendees continue using your existing platform for logistics and content - they use our agents for networking. Completely complementary, no conflict.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. You can run a single event with no commitment beyond that event's cost. Annual packages require a 12-month commitment in exchange for the volume discount.
